We are honored that Aikido Hombu Dojo will once again be dispatching one of their senior Headquarters Shihan, Shoji Seki Sensei, to be the guest instructor for our annual week-long Summer Camp. Seki Shihan has been extremely well received by those attending previous Camps, and we look forward to welcoming him for the seventh year in a row.

The dates for Summer Camp 2009 are June 21st to June 27th, with check-in held on Saturday, June 20th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

In addition to Aikido training led by Seki Shihan and other instructors throughout the morning and afternoon, a variety of activities is planned for the evening hours.

Kyu examinations will be held on Sunday, June 21st. Test applications and fees are due with the Summer Camp application. Students must be registered for Summer Camp by this deadline in order to test.

All Aikido training will be in the University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Physical Education Center. We will be staying in the air-conditioned apartments on campus which include a kitchenette in each suite. The University will provide us with three meals a day and a blanket, pillow, sheets and a towel, but be sure to bring extra towels and any additional bedding you may require.

We urge you to attend Summer Camp for the full week but we realize this may not always be possible. Therefore, there will be four attendance options to accommodate everyone.
